Giant Loop Stainless Steel Quick Mounts for Soft Luggage

A solid anchor point for soft luggage straps to keep them off the hot exhaust.

Published on 09.08.2015

Soft bags are great for off-road rides but sometimes the strap mounting points come dangerously close to your bike’s hot exhaust. You don’t want to be stranded in the middle of nowhere with a dangling bag after a strap has melted through. Giant Loop has come up with a solution that provides a solid mounting point for soft luggage straps that maximizes stability and keeps straps safely out of contact with your exhaust.

Giant Loop Quick Mounts

First developed for Giant Loop’s Snow line of snowmobile and snow bike tunnel bags, the adventure proof packing and gear systems innovator has crossed over the new Giant Loop Quick Mounts to its Moto line, with a more refined version that bolts onto motorcycles to create handy soft luggage mounts. The stamped and coined heavy gauge stainless steel Giant Loop Mounts keep webbing straps away from hot motorcycle exhaust components, and they shorten strap lengths for maximum stability. Notched openings in the mounts allow for speedy installation removal of Saddlebags, Panniers, Dry Bags and Tank Bags without the need to completely unstrap.

Giant Loop Mounts measure 1.75 inches wide x 2.5 inches long, and they weigh less than 1 ounce each. Slot width is 1-1/8 inch to fit 1-inch webbing, making them versatile and compatible with a variety of straps and luggage systems. USA MSRP is $15 for a set of two.
