Nebo Redline RC Rechargeable LED Flashlight

Time to replace your old flashlight with new rechargeable LED technology.

Published on 05.29.2014

Let’s face it, LED lighting technology is taking over. LED lights give you a brighter light in a smaller package that uses less energy than traditional lights. They are also better able to cope with the vibrations and impacts that occur during Adventure Riding. Bulbs last typically more than a decade, so you never have to worry about replacing them.

If you are out riding in the back country, it’s nice to have a compact, ultra bright flashlight that you can use for repairs or scanning your surrounding area when you are in trouble. A nice flashlight can also come in handy around the campsite for reading or gathering firewood.

A common annoyance with flashlights is the management of batteries. With all the things to remember when preparing for a trip, you can easily forget to check your batteries. You never really know how much life your batteries have either.

The Nebo Redline RC is a rechargeable LED flashlight that gives you 300 lumens of brightness. That’s enough to shine light on an object 200 meters away. The light is pocket sized at 7.4″ x 1″ (18.8 cm x 2.5 cm) so it’s easy to store. It’s made of anodized aircraft-grade aluminum and it’s water resistant. It also comes with a lanyard so you can wear it around your neck inside your jacket, keeping it ready to use when the sun goes down.

Nebo Charging Port

The Nebo Redline RC has a convenient charging port.

The flashlight has a charging port to plug in a recharging cable, so there’s no need to take out the batteries or hook up the flashlight to a charging platform. It comes with both AC and DC adapters, so you can charge it up on your bike or at the hotel.

Charge your flashlight before you go on a trip and it will give you 2.5 hours of light on the high setting up to 36 hours on low. If you forget to charge it, you can always do a quick charge off your bike to get light when you need it, or a full charge takes only 2.5 hours.

The Nebo Redline RC lets you control the brightness to conserve battery life or to keep from blinding yourself in your tent. It also has a strobe light feature that you can use to signal for help in an emergency. There are brighter LED flashlights on the market, but the Nebo gives you everything you need at a reasonable price. So say goodbye to your old flashlight and upgrade to the latest in LED technology.
