Rebel X Sports Launches All-New Adventure Kit For Honda CRF450L

Full details and pricing on the new CRF450L Rally Kit from Rebel X Sports.

Published on 09.22.2020

Our friends over at Rebel X Sports have been on a roll lately, releasing rally Kits for the KTM 790 Adventure, KTM EXCs and Husqvarna FEs all in the last year. Now they are focusing their attention on Honda with the release of a Plug n’ Play Adventure Kit for the CRF450L.

Nav Tower lets you install up to 2 smart devices such as GPS, Smartphone, Ram mounts, Action Camera and also a Tablet.

With this new rally-inspired Adventure Kit for the CRF450L, Rebel X is offering a package that not only improves wind protection for more comfortable longer-range adventures, but also adds a Nav tower, upgraded lighting and added conveniences. The new Nav Tower lets you install up to two electronic devices such as a GPS to navigate with and a Smartphone for taking calls or playing music on the road. The top RAM mount could also be used to install an action cam to film your rides, or a tablet to add a large TFT-style display. Those with Rally Racing intentions also have the option to install a Roadbook/Tripmaster on the Nav Tower.

The kit offers an optional 11.3 Liter (3 Gallon) fuel tank, increasing capacity by 1 Gallon.

For lighting, the kit retains the stock LED headlight of the CRF450L but adds significantly more light for night rides with an optional Baja Designs Squadron auxiliary light boasting 4,900 lumens output. Another unique feature are the mounts for turn indicators behind the windscreen, where they are highly visible but also protected in a fall. Two USB quick-charge ports and a tool bag/med kit compartment are integrated into the fairing as well.

For those who are looking to take longer rides, the CRF450L’s stock 2-gallon tank doesn’t provide much range. The new Rebel X kit helps alleviate range concerns while riding in remote areas by offering an additional gallon of fuel. With this optional 3-gallon (11.3 liter) fuel tank, the CRF450L’s range would be extended to somewhere around 125-145 miles on a fill up.

Whether you are a fan of the Rally look or just want to make your own lightweight ADV Bike, the new Honda CRF450L Adventure Kit from Rally X Sports looks to be both a practical and pleasing to the eye. Introductory pricing for the kit starts at €1,490.00 and it is currently available for pre-order with kits beginning to ship on October 15th and delivering worldwide. See below for more details on what’s included in the kit and for more information, visit rebelxsports.com.

I realize not every dirtbike needs to have a “rally set up”. Depending on use it’s extra weight/obstruction for some. But blows me away that it’s been like 25-30 years of consumer interest in this “style” of offroad bike and manufacturers continue to drag their feet. How many DR’s, XR’s, OG KLR’s, etc. to you see with aftermarket windscreens/dash/lighting.

I guess that’s good oportunity for aftermarket. But I sure don’t understand…?

I agree…
You would think that more than Yamaha with the T7 would have jumped on this by now.
I also wonder how you could see those turn indicators with the bright headlight. Where I live in Manitoba you can’t pass a safety inspection if you have aftermarket signal lights, from what I have been told.
