Discover the rural Wild Coast of South Africa with KTM and Alfie Cox.
Starting from the White Clay Lodge, the first three days are riding along the coast in three different loops to the east, south and one day more in the inland. You’ll discover the rural Wild Coast on rocky goat paths, riding across grassy hills, through forests and rivers and over rocks.
The KTM tour includes stunning views from high cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean, often accompanied by dolphins surfing the waves and whales on their migration route to calf. Experience rural villages, two track paths, river crossings all the while testing your enduro skills.
On the rest day, you’ll cover 550 km by van to travel to Natal, taking in the rural landscapes of the Eastern Cape until we reach Kwa Zulu Natal, Alfie Cox’s home province, a small rural farm (Jacksons Drift) situated in Cato Ridge. The riding in the sub-tropical province of Kwa Zulu Natal through the sugar cane plantations, forests, rural grasslands which offer two days riding, two different routes within a 100 km radius of Jackson’s Drift.
Accommodation is on Alfie’s farm where you’ll enjoy a genuine traditional African Braai.
Before transferring to King Shaka International Airport in Durban, you’ll visit a local safari park for a safari park drive, followed by breakfast. During the trip you’ll not only meet some of Africa’s wild animals, you’ll also see the vast beauty of the ancient African continent. And guess what? Campfires are our evening TV-program.
