March Moto Madness — Mar. 26-29, 2026

Ride, camp and have a good time with new friends in east Tennessee.

Published on 12.11.2025

March Moto Madness began by getting out in the spring as early as possible, packin’ up the bikes and goin’ ridin’ and campin’ with friends for a few days in the mountains of east Tennessee.

In 2012 the GS Giants, an adventure and dual-sport motorcycle club, joined MMM and helped with support and growth of the event. The Giants have been integral in helping spread the word, especially in the global event.

March Moto Madness has primarily been dual-sport-oriented, but the area’s great diversity of roads has broadened the range of riders. Great twisty asphalt (Cherohala Skyway, the Dragon), groomed gravel (the Dirt Dragon) or gnarly single track (trail 81 or 82) are all part of the route options. There are also single track and dirt bike trails on site to enjoy.

The organizers like to ride, camp and have a good time with new friends. Along with the riding, they’ve tried to add a little friendly competition into the mix for some more fun and bragging rights.

The 2026 event includes:

•Slow Race, Moto Limbo and Friday Night Barrel Races
•Skills course – Try your hand at tight turns, figure 8s, slalom. Nothing too extreme. Balance and brains are your friends here.
•Trails course– For those with a need for the extreme. Water, mud, logs, balance. You’ll have a little of everything that you could expect from a true extreme adventure.
•Hill Climb – Not for the faint of heart. Take home the title of King of the Hill.
