Husqvarna Announces FE Dual Sport Range Updates For 2026
The FE 350s and FE 501s get suspension tweaks, better fuel consumption & more!

Husqvarna has announced the return of the FE 350s and FE 501s dual sport models, introducing a handful of refinements for 2026. Key changes to the competition-derived, 4-stroke machines include a revised suspension, a reshaped tank and durability improvements paired with a few styling tweaks.
The most notable update for 2026 is to the suspension. Several technical changes have been made to the WP XACT Closed Cartridge forks for improved performance. Both models now feature polished springs, a new pressure reservoir, and a one-piece hydrostop for enhanced damping characteristics.

Complementing the updates, new compression and rebound settings have been introduced to the forks, as well as to the WP XACT rear shock, to retain chassis balance and refine the overall handling of each machine.
The 2026 dual sport line-up also receives a redesigned fuel tank shape, which Husqvarna says maximizes fuel consumption. To improve durability, a fuel line protector cap has been added while a new threaded radiator cap simplifies inspection of the coolant level.

Other features include Brembo hydraulic clutch and brake systems, ProTaper bars, Continental TKC 80 tires, and a mix of race-tested components that make these bikes versatile and trail-ready. New radiator shrouds, rear fender, fork guards and graphics wrap up the visual updates.

The 2026 FE 350s and FE 501s will hit dealer floors beginning fall of 2025. Official MSRP for both the 350s and 501s is $12,999.

A Dual Sport with a 2 Gallon fuel tank. That’s an easy “NO” for me.
Should have put at least a 3.2 – 3.5 gallon fuel tank on that 501. Great bike but with 2 gallons no range to take advantage of that bikes bigger engine for longer rides to dirt.
Do you build these? If not shh did you read the actual specs?
I think it’s pretty typical to have a 2-gallon tank on a performance dual sport. It should be good for about 90 miles of off-road. The 350 will get you 7 or 8 extra miles on a tank than the 501. If you are using it for aggressive terrain, that’s a full day of riding and it’s nice to have the smaller tank and less weight. Having a big aftermarket tank to throw on for those long-distance or multi-day rides is nice though.
I reckon the fuel tank is fine seeing as it’s a different shape to maximise yr fuel consumption
I tested the 2024 FE 350s and it ran out of gas on me even though I could see a good 1/4 gallon of fuel left in the bottom of the tank. That’s a good 10 miles of range that was left on the table. Even after laying it on its side, the fuel pump couldn’t get to it. I’m assuming this is the issue they addressed.
