Mosko Debuts Alpine 60L, Its Lightest Multi-Day Rackless System Yet
A streamlined, lighter weight, high-capacity option joins the rackless soft bag lineup.

Mosko Moto has just announced the expansion of its rackless soft luggage line with the release of the all-new Alpine 60L system — a minimalist, rack-free setup designed for dual sport and adventure riders who prioritize weight savings and simplicity. The A60 joins the brand’s lightweight Alpine luggage collection, which includes the 60L Alpine Pannier Kit and Alpine 50L/30L Duffle bags.

Weighing in at 8.2 lbs, the Alpine 60L Rackless is Mosko’s lightest multi-day rackless luggage system to date. It offers a familiar three-bag layout — two side panniers and a rear duffle — without the need for a pannier rack. Like the Reckless 40L and 80L, the new Alpine 60L system mounts via a CURV composite harness that’s designed to fit a wide range of bikes, from small enduros to larger ADV machines.

The harness includes a set of EVA mounting pads to protect bodywork and features a laser-cut rear fuel fill cutout for easy access to rear tanks on bikes like the KTM 690, Husqvarna 701, and Kove 450 Rally. The stiffness of the CURV material also helps reduce bag movement during technical riding, making it more stable on rough terrain. Like the Reckless systems, there are two rear straps and two front leg straps that mount the system to the bike. However, the A60 comes with two additional mounting slots on the sides of the legs that can be used to further secure the bike in extra rough terrain.
Compared to the Reckless 40L and 80L systems Mosko Moto removed things like the beaver tail, MOLLE panels and external pockets in an effort to lighten things up, while still keeping the bag tough and waterproof. The result is a 30% weight reduction on a per-liter basis. This makes the Alpine 60L an attractive option for riders looking to shed weight and bulk for more aggressive off-road rides.
Materials and Construction
The Alpine 60L Rackless forgoes the heavy-duty ballistic nylon found in Mosko’s Reckless series, opting instead for lightweight 420D ripstop nylon with a DWR coating and seam-taped construction. High-abrasion zones are reinforced with 840D TPU, and the roll-top design ensures waterproof protection while allowing for compression and expansion as gear loads change throughout a trip.

Inside each leg and the tail bag are removable waterproof tote bags made from 70D ripstop nylon. These allow riders to separate clean and dirty gear, or quickly remove packed items without detaching the entire system. Both the outer shell and inner liners feature sewn and tapped seams, so there’s two layers of waterproofing for your gear in case any damage occurs.

Versatility and Modularity
With the rack-free design, riders can easily swap the system between bikes or throw it on a rental bike for fly-n-ride adventures. When disassembled, the compact system fits neatly into Mosko’s Mule Gear Hauler or other large gear bag.

The 15L tail bag attaches to the harness via four SJ buckles and features a rear-facing roll-top opening for quick access to frequently used items. It also includes a carry handle for easy transport off the bike. The CURV composite harness is also compatible with Mosko’s Gnoblin mounting accessory for added click-in convenience.
While you do give up some of the modularity and conveniences of the Reckless luggage systems, the new Alpine 60L is much lighter, simpler and easy-to-pack with a clean yet rugged, waterproof design.
