Mosko Moto Launches Their Own Line Of Armor For ADV Riders
New stand-alone, breathable ‘Phase CE-2’ armor designed for multi-day ADV trips.

Mosko Moto is expanding their technical gear portfolio with the release of a new line of innovative gear—body armor tailored specifically for adventure and dual sport riders. Designed to deliver lightweight, breathable protection with all-day comfort, the new Phase CE-2 collection reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to rider-focused design.

For years, Mosko has championed a modular approach to rider protection: standalone body armor worn beneath an abrasion resistant, waterproof shell. This configuration ensures the armor remains fixed at key impact zones, reducing the risk of displacement during a crash. It also enables riders to remove the jacket in high-heat, off-road environments while maintaining full impact protection—an advantage over integrated armor systems.

However, traditional stand-alone ‘motocross-style’ armor, while protective, often falls short for adventure riders covering longer distances. It’s typically built for track use or short-duration races, relying on rigid shell protectors that lack flexibility and ventilation. Thick straps can dig into the skin over time, making extended wear uncomfortable.
Mosko’s new Phase CE-2 armor line addresses these shortcomings with a minimalist, low-profile design that prioritizes airflow and mobility. The collection includes elbow sleeves, knee guards, and hip-pad shorts—all featuring a compression fit that eliminates the need for bulky straps. At the heart of each piece is RHEON technology: a flexible superpolymer that intelligently stiffens on impact, offering CE Level-2 protection without sacrificing comfort.
Key Features:
- CE Level-2 Impact Protection: Integrated into elbow sleeves, hip shorts, and knee guards.
- Minimalist Design: Low-profile and lightweight, ideal for multi-day ADV trips.
- Breathable Construction: Made from open mesh and moisture-wicking polyester/spandex for airflow and comfort during active riding.
- Compression Fit: Ensures the armor stays in place without the use of straps.
- RHEON 3D Armor Inserts: A flexible superpolymer that stiffens on impact for enhanced comfort and protection.

Currently, the Phase CE-2 lineup includes three core products—hip shorts, elbow sleeves, and knee guards—but it’s likely just the beginning. Could a chest protector or padded shorts option be next? For now, here’s what’s in the mix:
Phase CE-2 Hip Shorts
A breathable, low-profile armored short featuring CE Level-2 hip protection (yes, level-2 in the hips!). Built with open mesh and advanced armor construction, these compression shorts offer excellent airflow and comfort for long-distance rides. MSRP $119
Phase CE-2 Elbow Protectors
Streamlined and ventilated, these open mesh elbow sleeves deliver CE Level-2 protection in a minimalist design, while delivering all-day comfort on longer rides. The slip-on compression fit eliminates straps while ensuring the armor stays securely in place, even during aggressive off-road riding. MSRP $89
Phase CE-2 Knee Protectors
Designed for multi-day ADV missions, these low-profile knee sleeves feature CE Level-2 impact protection in a lightweight, breathable form. The strapless compression fit keeps them from slipping down, while the open mesh construction maximizes airflow. MSRP $109

All Phase CE-2 armor comes with a Lifetime Warranty and is covered under Mosko’s Crash Care Program if you damage the gear in a fall. For more details check out the Mosko Moto website.

My wife and I have been Adventure riders for a long time and have always had garments with integrated armor. However we tried the Phase2 Armor in June and have completely converted to these with a layering approach. Our integrated gear is now only used for quick errand runs.
I bet it’s not American made.
If their body armor line is anything like their overpriced luggage, I can expect to keep my neighbor busy with requests to fix prematurely worn out webbing and replacing buckles. Every time I tighten the straps on the Beaver tail on my Reckless 80 system, I instinctively expect something to break. I have accessory coverage on my motorcycle, and when I lost my last dual sport to a flood, the adjuster told me that I could keep my Mosko system without affecting the overall payout, I declined and let them know that the purchase of the Reckless 80 system was one modification that I was looking forward to finally being reimbursed for.
