NEXX has just released a new helmet designed to strike a balance between feature-rich adventure lids and lightweight motocross designs. The X.RALLY is described by the Portuguese brand as an “adventure rally” helmet for long and tough rides, promising high performance, minimal weight, full goggle compatibility, versatility and all-day comfort on and off-road

Weighing in at just 1350 grams in its X-PRO Carbon shell, NEXX says the X.RALLY is engineered for long days in the saddle, where comfort, ventilation, and adaptability are highly appreciated.The carbon shell is crafted using NEXX’s proprietary X-PRO Carbon technology, delivering high-impact resistance, while minimizing rider fatigue. 

One of the standout safety features is the X-Foam crash bumper system, which lines the entire lower rim — including the chin bar — with lightweight EPP foam to help absorb impact energy and reduce collarbone injuries. Inside, a 3D mesh liner and patent-pending Air Cumbs Cooling Chamber work together to manage heat and moisture, while also shielding the skin from dust and sand.

The helmet is designed to adapt across three riding modes: Dual Sport (with visor and winter chin vent), Off-Road (optimized for goggle fit and airflow with windscreen removed), and On-Road (with the peak removed for a sleeker profile). The Recoil Visor System uses spring-loaded base plates to ensure a tight seal against the dual-lip gasket, reducing wind noise and improving weather protection. Each helmet includes a Pinlock anti-fog insert — 200 XLT Max Vision for the X-PRO Carbon and 120 XLT Max Vision for the X-Matrix2.

For riders who log serious miles on the trail, the X.RALLY includes thoughtful touches like the X-HIDRO hydration tube strap system, a magnetic X-LOCK chinstrap, and intercom-ready cutouts with a dedicated clamp mount slot. A new photochromic visor — included with X-PRO Carbon models — automatically adjusts to changing light conditions, staying clear at night and darkening in bright sun.

Those looking to share their rides with friends and family, will appreciate the included POV Kit, which features a top mount (usable with or without the peak) and a four-position reversible chin mount for action cameras.

For those seeking a more budget-friendly option, the X-Matrix 2 version offers a multi-composite shell with many of the same features at a lower price point. Both versions share a focus on airflow, with a total of 9 intake vents and 6 exhaust ports, plus dedicated winter chin ventilation and cheek pad intakes to keep riders cool in any climate.
