Howlin’ At The Moon Dual Sport — Nov. 1-2, 2025
Take on the latest routes around Prescott with the gang from Arizona Trail Riders.

This year the Howlin’ at the Moon Dual Sport rally will be held November 1 and 2 in Payson, Arizona, at the Payson Elks Lodge Elks Lodge.
The Howlin’ at the Moon Dual Sport is a 2-day event featuring some of the best dirt roads and trails in the Prescott National Forest. You follow the GPS track of your choice for a fun and challenging day of riding. If you are only able to attend for one day that’s ok, there are ticket options for Saturday or Sunday only.
There is limited dry camping available and there may be RV hookup camping. Organizers request you do not call the Elks lodge requesting a RV hookup site. All camping is first-come first-served and will be organized by ATR’s own friendly onsite camp host Ed Maki. Look him up when you arrive.
Other camping and hotel options will be available at Arizona Trail Riders website.
There are A, B, and C routes available on Saturday and Sunday. “A” routes are the toughest and include all manner of two-track and some single track trail. “B” routes are a mix of maintained and un-maintained roads and should be considered “Hero” routes for Big Bike riders. The “C” routes are big bike friendly and will be paved roads along with maintained and semi-maintained dirt roads.
