The Overland Event is a relaxed weekend with a varied agenda, but motorcycle travel is at its heart.

At the main summer Overland Event there is food, drink and music from around the world, and hundreds of riders with stories to tell. There are motorcycle test rides, historic and modified travel motorbikes on show, specialist equipment vendors, author presentations and workshops.

The venue for the Overland Event in 2023 is once again the beautiful Hill End Centre in central Oxfordshire. The 62-acre site has been an educational facility since it was established in the 1920s by philanthropists, Raymond and Hope Fennell, who believed outdoor education was ‘beneficial for health’. Now owned by Oxford University, it is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and the chalet-style buildings on site are those erected in the 1920s and 30s.

Conceived and planned by the people who bring you the quarterly Overland Magazine, the Overland Event is designed to excite, inspire and inform anyone who is planning to travel on a motorcycle. Presenters include world travelers Ted Simon, Ian Coates and Heather Sinclair just to name a few.
