REV’IT! Launches New Sand 3 Adventure Suit for 2017
All-new REV'IT! Sand Suit gets improved protection, storage options and fit.

The REV’IT! Sand adventure suit has stood the test of time over countless climates and terrains – and in 2017 it’s better than ever. The third-generation Sand 3 suit is upgraded with more robust protective materials and design elements in multiple color options, to deliver the same travel features and versatility loved by riders around the globe, but in a brand-new package.
Functionality to Ensure Versatility
By incorporating direct feedback from sponsored round-the-world riders, the Sand 3 has been improved with a new suite of storage options, adjusters and accessory add-ons. The jacket is now compatible with the Leatt and Moveo neck braces, the REV’IT! Challenger cooling vest, and the REV’IT! Hi-Viz Connector Vest, and military-inspired utility straps allow for secure attachment of an action camera.
To create the perfect fit in each configuration, multiple adjustment straps are included on the arms and torso, and seamless armpit panels allow for easy freedom of movement. A grip panel at the back of the Sand 3 pants prevents sliding on the seat under acceleration or braking, and a unique YKK slide lock front closure adds comfort and ease to the waist area. Larger jacket stash pockets and cargo pants pockets leave room for all the adventure essentials.
Flexibility and Climate Control
When it comes to weather, the Sand 3 suit is equipped with the tools that keep riders prepared for the worst. In sunny, ideal conditions, the thermal liner and waterproof Hydratex 3L membrane can be removed completely, and ample outer-shell vents – expanded in size and repositioned from previous models – can be opened for generous airflow. In less than ideal conditions, the two removable layers can be added in or combined as necessary, making the Sand 3 just as perfect for warm, cold, and wet scenarios.
More Robust Protection
The Sand 3 has been upgraded with the award-winning SEEFLEX™ CE-level 2 protectors on shoulders, elbows knees, and is prepared for the SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector insert and the SEESMART™ CE-rated hip protectors. The body is now made of ripstop polyester, and crash points are reinforced with PWR|shell 1000D – a REV’IT! proprietary material that combines high melting point, tremendous tear- and abrasion-resistance, and excellent durability.
Sand 3 Gloves
The Sand 3 gloves – the newest iteration of the popular Sand Pro gloves – are a great choice as a warm weather adventure companion. The ventilated TPR protection at the knuckles and finger joints adds solid protection and unlimited freedom of movement, and gives the gloves their unique, stand-out look. The palms are reinforced with PWR | shield and a TPR palm slider, for a controlled slide in the event of a crash.
The Sand 3 Jacket is available in black, silver/anthracite, sand/black, and dark blue/black in sizes S-XZL, MSRP $499.99. The Sand 3 Pants are available in black and silver/anthracite in sizes S-XZL, MSRP $359.99. The Sand 3 gloves are available in black, black/silver, black/red, and sand in sizes S-XZL, MRSP $109.99.

Incredibly sharp Jacket, if it had a Gor-tex shell it would rival anything Klim has and get my pick for styling. I just dont understand why anyone would want to mess with a waterproof liner that was under the jacket? Anyone who rides ADV knows how much of a pain it is to swap liners while riding.
I do ride ADV, and I prefer liner over Gore-Tex shell because when you fall and you tear your gear, you can easily repair the outer shell without damaging the waterproof liner, thus not affecting the waterproofing of your gear. Especially important when you ride in rocky area.
Gore-Tex fabric can be repaired, I have done it many times. I have applied patches and have repaired seams. I would much rather do that than have to stop, dig out liners (where do you stop to take your pants off and put the liners in??) and put them on.
