Aprilia Wants You To Explore The SouthWest On The Tuareg 660 Rally
An all-inclusive ride on the new rally-tuned adventure bike from Italy.
Aprilia is bringing its all‑inclusive Tuareg adventures back to North America, expanding last year’s Moab‑based ride into a much broader journey across the Southwest. Called the Tuareg Experience: Western Frontier, the adventure is aimed at riders who want to try the new Tuareg 600 Rally model in a true dual sport environment, while moving through some of the region’s most striking landscapes.

Spanning three legs, the journey crosses Utah, reaches Arizona, and ends in the Nevada desert, from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas. Aprilia says riders can join one 5-6 day leg of the three-part ride, or brave the entire 14-day trek. Like previous Tuareg Experiences, this is a turnkey adventure: Aprilia provides the bike, meals, lodging, expert instructors and support crew. You just show up ready to ride.
The Rides
The North Ride opens the tour with a long stretch from Salt Lake City to Moab. The journey will explore the iconic Bonneville Salt Flats, work through canyon corridors, and follow historic tracks, pitch camp at the edge of the world and end in the mecca of off-road riding. This leg covers the most ground at roughly 860 miles over six days. (Dates: April 24 – 29)

The Central Ride is the second leg of the adventure. It starts in Moab and climbs into the Manti–La Sal National Forest, where the terrain shifts to wooded high country and flowing dirt. From there, the route drops into the Valley of the Gods and a campsite among the monoliths. It then continues along Burr Trail’s narrow canyons and switchbacks before ending in Boulder. This section spans about 745 miles over five days. (Dates: April 29 – May 3)

The South Ride slows the pace and leans into scenery. Beginning on the Escalante Scenic Byway, the group moves through Zion’s canyons, coral‑colored sand dunes, and a remote riding area in northern Arizona before finishing in Las Vegas. Like the Central Ride, it covers about 745 miles over five days. (Dates: May 3 – 7)
