KLIM Cow Tag – Jun. 22, 2017
Ride great trails with KLIM and help support off-road trail advocacy groups.

Coming back for it’s third consecutive year, the fun and challenging KLIM Cow Tag Ride will be held June 24th in KLIM’s backyard test lab in the heart of Idaho’s backcountry. Ride great trails with the team from KLIM, win amazing prizes and support Off-Road Trail Advocacy Groups by signing up!
“Protecting shared outdoor recreation on public land is really important to KLIM, the porpose of the Cowtag is to spread awareness on this issue and raise money for organizations that work hard to keep our riding areas open” said KLIM Marketing Director John Summers.
Spots are limited to 350 participants. You’ll enjoy breakfast and dinner on the day of the ride, an event T-shirt and Maps and GPS tracks to the Cow Tag locations. When the ride is over, you’ll be eligible to win amazing prizes donated by the best companies in off-road. Proceeds from the event support Trail Advocacy Groups to keep trails open.
About the Ride
The goal of the ride is to collect Cow Tag numbers posted at various locations in the local riding area. The locations are shown on the provided trail map and GPS tracks only. Each rider will be responsible for reaching the locations and snapping a photo with the tag. Each Cow Tag is worth a different amount of tickets—the harder they are to get to, the more they’re worth! Riders will decide where to invest their earned tickets based on individual prize raffles at the evening’s dinner.
Location
Once again, Kelly Canyon Ski Resort will serve as basecamp for the ride. The local spot offers great access to some of our favorite local trails and is only a few miles away from KLIM’s Idaho headquarters.
Schedule
• Sign in Friday June 23th from 1:00 to 7:00 at KLIM HQ.
• Saturday June 24th sign in from 7:30 am to 8:30 am at Kelly’s Canyon Ski Resort
• Saturday June 24th breakfast 7:45 am to 8:45 am (Provided by Chick-fil-A)
• Saturday June 24th riders meeting at 8:45
• Ride will start at 9:00 am
• Riders will need to check back in by 5:00 pm
• 5:00 to 6:30 redeem raffle tickets
• 6:30 to 9:00 Dinner and drawings of prizes
