GIVI Launches Range of Accessories For The Yamaha Tenere 700

Fresh new products to make your T7 an even more well-rounded machine.

Published on 06.07.2021

Yamaha’s Tenere 700 has found a sweet spot in the fast-growing adventure segment becoming one of the most sought-after ADV bikes to come along in a while. With the bike available in Europe for a few years already, Italy’s GIVI has had plenty of time to do development work with the T7 and is happy to announce a wide range of purpose-built accessories for the popular model.

Monokey Rear Rack + Plate

GIVI’s rear rack and plate for the Tenere 700 accommodate the company’s array of Monokey and Monolock top-case options ranging from the RTW-ready 58-liter Outback case to the smaller 29-liter plastic case. The plate can also be outfitted with the EX2M universal bag holder, suitable for carrying large bags up to 50 liters in capacity. Rear rack MSRP $219; Plate MSRP starts at $104.

Monokey Side Frames

These new for 2020 PLO quick-release frames accept any Monokey case and the GRT709 Canyon soft bags. Made of tubular 18mm gauge steel, they are powder coated for improved resistance against wear and rust. They can be removed quickly using the provided tool, the only parts left on the bike are the mounting tabs. MSRP $288.

These new for 2020 PLO Series quick-release frames are specific to accept the GIVI Outback aluminum cases and the GRT709 Canyon soft bags. They are the most rugged mounts in the GIVI’s range, with a proprietary 4-points latching system and its patented visual safety alert.

Like the standard Monokey side frames, they can be removed quickly using the provided tool. MSRP $315.

Engine Guards

Made of 1″ tubular mild steel and a 25” diameter tube, GIVI offers these T7-specific engine guards powder coated in black or silver. The Italian company further states they are designed to provide the ideal combination in terms of protection, weight and value, while offering added resistance to rust. Black guards MSRP $203; Stainless steel guards MSRP $342.

Windscreens

GIVI mentions they are proud to make screens and windshields that have gained a great reputation for their clarity. The Italian company affirms they use the best quality materials available on the market and never compromise with recycled blends.

This bike specific windshield uses the same mounting points of the OEM one, no extra kit needed. They are offered in smoked color and a tall (52 x 42 cm) version. Smoked screen MSRP $104; Tall screen MSRP $117.

Wind Deflectors

Two practical transparent (smoke) deflectors that are interchangeable with the OEM ones. They help keep turbulence at bay and also offer extra protection from dust and debris when riding off-road without blocking the view. MSRP $126

Aluminum Skid Plate

Made of 2mm thick, laser cut and anodized aircraft grade aluminum, the RP2145 helps to protect your engine from rocks and ruts when riding off-road. It’s carefully shaped around the T7 lower frame and GIVI states they put extra care into selecting the mounting points, without bolts going straight to the engine cases. That helps prevent or at least reduce damage in case of big impacts. The use of stainless steel rivets also assures that the structure is somewhat flexible, so it does not get permanently deformed at the slightest hit (as may happen with fully welded skid plates). MSRP $338.

Side-Stand Foot Extension

The ES2145 is a little but very useful device that allows you to park the motorcycle on hot pavement or loose dirt, reducing the risk of tipping over. Made of a billet aluminum base and a steel retaining bracket, comes with all the necessary bolts for the installation. MSRP $50.
