For 2021, Honda Europe is offering 30 riders an epic adventure aboard the new Africa Twin—a chance to explore the unique volcanic landscapes of Iceland on the standard CRF1100L and CRF1100L Adventure Sports ES (complete with Showa EERA semi active suspension), for a once in a lifetime 11-day ride through the land of ‘Fire and Ice.’

The journey will begin in Reykjavik—the most northerly capital city in the world—and wind its way down to the south of the island, before heading through the remote highlands of the north, and back to Reykjavik. Taking in some of the most stimulating riding scenarios in the northern hemisphere, participants will ride their Africa Twins down gravel passes, navigate the famed black sand, and ford rivers, all while taking in the majestic beauty of an island famed for its volcanoes, waterfalls, lava fields, geysers and 22+ hours of summer daylight.

The 11-day adventure will be a complete turn-key package for customers from across Europe. With all accommodations, food, fuel, new Africa Twin models, guides and maintenance taken care of, all you have to do is show up and ride. What’s more, HRC rally riders will also be along for the ride to provide expert tips and share their skills on and off-road.

The 2021 ‘Adventure Roads” journey is Honda’s third trip of its kind. The first Adventure Roads trip saw 40 riders set out in summer 2017 on an 8-day, 3,500km journey from Oslo to Nordkapp – the northernmost point of Europe. Returning in 2019, Adventure Roads travelled 3,700km ‘coast to coast’ from Durban to Cape Town in South Africa, exploring varied terrain and epic landscapes over 12 days.
