Death Valley Rally — Feb. 15-17, 2025

Ride a three-day dual-sport ride dubbed 'The Cathouse Crawl.'

Published on 12.03.2024

The Death Valley Rally is back for 2025!

On Saturday, you can ride the Horse Race Single Track down to Panamint Valley, up Gohler past Manson’s cabin, then over Mengal Pass to Butte Valley to three more cabins.

The route then passes Stripped Butte, down through Death Valley to a gas stop in Shoshone, then on to lunch in Tecopa and hot springs. You can also take a side trip to China Ranch Date Farm for some desert action.

The route then goes into Nevada and on to Pahrump after a quick stop at the Chicken Ranch Brothel gift shop.

The Sunday ride takes you back to Shoshone on secret Single Track for gas then back through Death Valley to Longstreet for lunch (there’s an optional side trip to Lathrop Junction for gas at the Cherry Patch Brothel and Museum) then on to Beatty.

There’s also an optional 50-mile loop back to Beatty past Angel’s Ladies Brothel.

Monday you can take the fast way back or take several side trips. Options include a ride through Rhyolite, then either down Titus or through Chloride Cliff to Stove Pipe, or you can cut back and do both. Then the route takes you over Emigrant Pass—with an optional side trip to Skidoo—then down Wildrose through Ballarat to Trona for gas.

Finally you’re then routed back to Ridgecrest.

Is this ADV-friendly? Meaning, are any of the trails BDR-type trails; fun, but not ADV expert level?
