The 2027 Ozarks BDR Fun‑Raiser Weekend is a four‑day adventure gathering held at Mount Magazine Lodge in Paris, Arkansas. Set atop Arkansas’s highest point at 2,753 feet, the event brings together BDR supporters, ambassadors, industry professionals and ADV enthusiasts for a long weekend of self‑guided riding, community connection and evening programming in the heart of the Ozark–St. Francis National Forests.

From the Mount Magazine basecamp, participants will explore a curated mix of graded gravel, rocky forest roads, twisty pavement and sections of the Ozarks BDR‑X, a 480‑mile backcountry route through northwest Arkansas launched April 2, 2026. Daily ride options are available for every skill level, ranging from mild backroads to more technical forest service terrain. Riders can carve scenic pavement, cross rivers, navigate lush forest two‑track and sample portions of the Ouachita Mountains — all close enough to return to the lodge in time for Happy Hour.

Evenings feature presentations, round‑table discussions and updates from the BDR team, along with catered meals and social time with fellow riders. The event offers a chance to meet BDR founders, ambassadors and volunteers, learn about access and preservation issues, and contribute to the future of the Backcountry Discovery Routes mission. Limited‑edition commemorative gifts are included for all attendees.

Lodging is booked separately, with hotel rooms available at Mount Magazine Lodge under a dedicated BDR room block, along with RV and tent camping options at Mount Magazine State Park. The event is limited to 90 riders, and early registration is strongly recommended.
