Proof You Don’t Need an Adventure Bike To Ride the World

Five examples show anything with two wheels can take you around the world.

Published on 09.03.2015

Think you must have a purpose-built adventure motorcycle to ride the world? A modern Adventure Motorcycle with loads of suspension travel and techno-wizardry to keep you comfortable may be the preferable way to travel for many. But for some, riding a motorcycle with significant limitations makes the journey all the more adventurous.

Life is unpredictable and putting off your ride of a lifetime until you have the right motorcycle could mean your dream trip never happens. With some skill and finesse, pretty much anything with two wheels is capable of taking you down dirt roads and potholed, third-world asphalt. What really matters is you, the rider. Are you committed enough? Brave enough? Willing to make the necessary sacrifices to put your dream ride into play?
