Allegheny Jamboree — Jul. 13-16, 2023

A multi-vehicle, off-road adventure in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Published on 01.16.2023

Big bikes or small; ADV, dual sports, dirt bikes or ATVs/SxSs are all welcome at the 2023 Allegheny Jamboree. There will be trail rides available on Timberline, Marienville, Penoke, and Rocky Gap.

Willow Creek trails are included in the ANF Trail Pass but they are approximately one hour drive from camp. Rocky Gap is approximately 40 minutes from camp and they plan to hit those on Sunday after packing up camp, for anyone interested. A few All-Skills-Level ADV Loops utilizing pavement and gravel/dirt forest service roads will also be available for those not wanting to tackle the trails (plated, street-legal bikes required for the ADV routes).

The event is hosted at the Forest Lodge & Campground a few minutes outside of Marienville, Pennsylvania. There will be direct access to the Marienville/Penoke trail systems (noted as Pigeon on the hyperlinked trail map). They will be setting up in the Group Camp area.

Trail passes are required to ride the ANF OHM Trails and can be purchased at the Forest Lodge & Campground or through the USDA USFS website. The cost of an annual pass is $35, a day pass is $10. Please review all USDA USFS ANF rules and regulations for motorized travel on the trail systems prior to riding on the trails. A list of local gas stations, grocers, restaurants, and other local attractions are available on the Forest Lodge website.

A GPX file will also be sent out prior to the event which will include local POIs. A goal of Appalachian ADV Events is to help bring Adventure Tourism into small communities to help support the local economy. The organizers encourage event participants to stop into Marienville or Kane to grab supplies, gas, lunch, and dinner.
