The Overland Event returns for a second year in 2016. Whether you are planning to camp on the coast, fly/ride for two weeks, or ride around the world, the Overland Event is for you. There will be food, drink and music from around the world and hundreds of riders with stories to tell. There will be motorcycle test rides, historic and modified machines on show, specialist equipment vendors, author presentations, workshops, off-road trails, a free cinema and even a swimming pool, and it’s all helping the charity Motorcycle Outreach.

Conceived and planned by the people who bring you the quarterly Overland Magazine, the Overland Event is designed to excite, inspire and inform anyone who is planning to travel on a motorcycle, and all for a good cause. Last year the remarkable Ted Simon was there along with loads of other riders who’ve managed to get their stories into print. They gave presentations, as did those who prepare bikes for the overland task.
