The Vermont 400 South — Jun. 25-28, 2023
An adventure-ready motorcycle tour leading down forest paths and mountain trails.

The Vermont 400 South guided ride circumnavigates Vermont’s central Green Mountain range, off road.
Each night the small group of 7-8 riders will arrive at a different historic inn along the route. A chase vehicle carries extra bikes and our extra gear, but will not be able to follow us down every road and trail.
You’ll fend for yourself on trail with tools and emergency equipment. A SPOT satellite communicator will be kept with the group at all times. A lead and tail guide will assist with mechanical issues along the way and carry tools, tubes, tow straps and other emergency equipment. Guides are trained and certified in Wilderness first aid.
The 2023 edition brings some exciting changes to the Vermont 400. The route has been updated to include some new and adventurous roads and trails. They have also added a new lodge for day three and a new lunch stop for day two.
All in all, these changes are intended to provide a more enjoyable adventure with better route flow and more opportunity for interesting terrain.
The Vermont 400 begins in the sleepy town of Lincoln, Vermont. From there, on the western slope of Vermont’s Green Mountain National Forest, you’ll begin by heading south through some of the state’s most beautiful public lands.
Riders can plan on encountering some exciting terrain: mud, rocks, hills and water crossings will be aplenty so off-road riding skills are a must on this tour. That being said, the MotoVermont team will be there to help riders along every step of the way.
After the kick stands are down for the evening, relaxation will ensue: Warm fire, hot coffee or a cold beverage of your choice will be waiting for you at the evening’s lodging establishment. The MotoVermont chase truck will be there for you with our extra belongings as well.
A fresh and delicious hot meal will be prepared as you recount the days adventures and look forward to the next ride.
