Dunlop has officially introduced the Geomax EN92, a next‑generation enduro competition tire designed to replace the EN91 and broaden performance across the varied terrain typical of modern enduro events. The EN92 is both FIM‑approved and DOT‑legal, allowing riders to transition between trail sections and public roads while staying within regulations.

According to Dunlop, the EN92 is an evolution of the EN91 rather than a clean‑sheet redesign, with development focused on expanding terrain versatility and improving predictability. The tire will be offered in two compounds: a medium‑compound standard version aimed at dry, grassy, flat, and hard dirt surfaces, and a new EN92 SOFT option designed for wet, rocky, and root‑covered terrain where additional traction and compliance are needed.

Dunlopp says the EN92 incorporates several of the brand’s established off‑road technologies, including Cornering Block Technology, which uses staggered block positioning to improve traction and stability when the tire is loaded at lean. 

The tire also features Dunlop’s Advanced Apex Design to enhance bump absorption and compliance, along with a construction package intended to deliver consistent handling across diverse terrain. These updates work together to broaden the EN92’s usable range while maintaining the durability and control riders expect from the Geomax line. The company reports that the tire’s design emphasizes predictable traction and improved control, drawing on development experience from high‑level enduro events such as the ISDE.

Dunlop says the new EN92 is starting to arrive at dealerships and will be available in multiple front and rear fitments across both compounds, giving riders flexibility when selecting a setup for different terrain types and competition needs.
