KTM Announces Details For 2022 Adventure Rally In Canada

The orange brand hits Quebec for an epic dose of Adventure.

Published on 03.18.2022

Although KTM hasn’t released details for the U.S. Adventure Rally other than its location in Idaho and September dates, plans for the 2022 event in Canada have officially been unveiled. Expect spectacular riding opportunities, demo rides on KTM’s latest Adventure lineup, the opportunity to speak with KTM’s factory technicians and fun times with other riders who share a passion for adventure riding.

The 2-day navigation rally is open to all street-legal adventure/dual sport motorcycles but keep in mind there is a size requirement of 600cc and up, with an exception made for the small-bore KTM 390 Adventure. The rally offers two different route options that both start and end at the picturesque Auberge du Lac Taureau in Saint-Michel-des-Saints, Quebec.

Teams of 2 to 4 riders will have the option to take on the rally, navigating through the diverse wilderness in the Lanaudière region of Quebec. There are 2 different adventure routes varying in difficulty. If your team of adventurers is seeking to experience a long-distance adventure on gravel roads (R2) is your class. If your team is looking to push the limits in search of tougher and aggressive off-road terrain with plenty of rocks, logs and everything in between, (R1) may be more suitable.

Both classes will be riding toward the same goal of achieving the closest final mileage possible and the mileage will be calculated according to KTM’s predetermined routes (R1 and R2). Overall team results will be shared during the awards ceremony on Saturday night.

The rally will also offer demo rides featuring the new 2022 1290 ADVENTURE R and travel lineup. Plus vendors will be on-site throughout the weekend with the latest products for adventure riders.

  • 2 Day Navigation Rally
  • KTM ADVENTURE Demo Rides
  • On-Site Breakfast – Friday and Saturday
  • Lunch on-the-go – Friday and Saturday
  • Dinner – Thursday and Friday
  • Awards Dinner – Saturday
  • Event Tee
  • Adventure product vendors onsite

The 4th installment of the KTM Adventure Rally Canada will take place June 17th and 18th. Tickets for the event are CA$474.08. To register and book your accommodation click here.

Not sure I’ll be able to out-do D H’s erudite, eloquent and right-on-topic comment but this does sound like a great time. If the moderators wake up and remove D H’s silly comment, feel free to remove this one as well.

The middle of nowhere is a great place to ride a KTM in public. There’s no one to see that oogly thing. Just joking about a poll I saw a few months ago. KTMs were voted the ugliest bikes.
