Three years after documenting his 6,000-mile journey across the Western US in the popular series ‘Riding Solo,’ filmmaker Sterling Noren is back at it again with an even longer, more epic solo motorcycle adventure.

The second installment of the series, called Riding Solo AZ to BC, follows the accomplished rider as he treks from his home in Arizona to British Columbia and back again covering 8,000 miles over 53 days. The expedition will treat viewers to 30 episodes showing what it is like to embark on a solo motorcycle expedition. ”My goal as a filmmaker is to capture the essence of this long motorcycle ride in a way that really represents the spirit of the journey,” says Sterling.

Beyond the inspiring footage, Noren gives riders an honest, heartfelt look at the joys and perils of long-distance motorcycle travel and teaches his skills along the way. He shows viewers how he produces the cinematic shots, how to pack and prep for the ride, campsite cooking, and much more. “Solo rides are really special to me,” says Sterling. “It’s the story of a real motorcycle adventure, the roads that I ride on, the things that I see along the way. All of that is going to be a part of this trip.”

He traveled through Arizona, California, Nevada, Washington and Canada? If I remember my geography correctly, you can’t get to Washington without going through Oregon or Idaho. Maybe Scotty beamed him across?
