Triumph Unveils New Tiger 900 Baja Aragon Limited Edition Models
New variants join the Tiger 900 lineup to celebrate Baja Aragon win.
A year after five-time Enduro World Champion Ivan Cervantes snatched a win at the Baja Aragon race, Triumph is celebrating his stand-out performance aboard the Tiger 900 with the launch of two special edition models. Dubbed the Tiger 900 Rally Aragón Edition and the Tiger 900 GT Aragón Edition, the new variants will be available for one year only and feature unique livery along with extra accessories.
Riding a Tiger Rally Pro, Ivan finished the 280-mile (450km) race in first place in the Trail class by a whopping 1 hour and 6 minutes ahead of the next finisher, Angel Bellmunt, who was riding a Yamaha T7. To top it off, Ivan crossed the line in an impressive 12th position overall in a field of 75 competitors which included elite riders on purpose built, Dakar spec’d race bikes.
Featuring special livery inspired by the bike raced by Ivan, the Tiger 900 Rally Aragón dons a triple color of Matte Phantom Black, Matte Graphite, and Crystal White, featuring distinct Racing Yellow accents paired seamlessly with Triumph Tiger and Aragón Edition detailing, as well as a new and unique twin color seat design.
The GT Aragón follows suit with Triumph Tiger and Aragón Edition detailing, in addition to a refreshing twin color seat design, but instead features a triple color scheme of Diablo Red, Matte Phantom Black, and Crystal White.
Engine protection bars are fitted as standard to both Aragón Editions, while the Rally Aragón Edition also has fuel tank protection bars as standard to complete the package. In addition, a collection of over 65 dedicated accessory options are available for both models, allowing you to tailor your machine to suit your own adventure.
Both models continue to boast 94 horsepower and 64 ft-lbs (87 Nm) of peak torque, as well as a slip and assist clutch, to deliver a rich triple performance. Maintaining the modular frame and high specification suspension of the standard models, the GT Aragón Edition carries fully- adjustable 1.8” (45mm) USD Marzocchi cartridge forks with electronically adjustable RSU, whereas the Rally Aragón Edition features Showa forks tuned for even greater off-road performance.
Both models will be available in dealers by the end of July. Pricing for the 2024 Tiger 900 Rally Aragón Edition is set at $16,995 USD ($19,795 CAD) while the 2024 Tiger 900 GT Aragón Edition will set you back a bit less at $16,495 USD ($18,895 CAD).
