Is it impossible to have a trip of a lifetime in a three-day weekend ride? Do you have to retire to have the time and money to embark on an epic adventure? These are the myths Mosko Moto set out to debunk in their new video series dubbed ‘ADV Weekend.’ 

The main goal of the series is to demonstrate how you can create your own mini adventures to amazing destinations, no matter where you live. “We wanted to show that time, money, equipment, and experience aren’t valid excuses to stay on the sidelines… and that it is possible to have the trip of a lifetime in just seventy-two hours.” says Mosko Moto’s Spencer Hill who came up with the idea for the project. “Time is only a limiting factor if you let it be.”

Not everyone is blessed with endless miles of unfettered trail access and inspiring landscapes in their own backyard. But with air travel, you can reach some pretty cool spots in a matter of hours, get in a few days of riding on a rental and be back at work after taking just a day or two off. According to the Oregon-based luggage and apparel brand, “These are whirlwind weekend tracks for those looking to experience adventure riding at its fullest, without shirkucking real-world responsibilities.” 

In this first episode, the Mosko team travel to Arizona, where they rendezvous with the crew from MotoDiscovery  — a popular bike rental and tour outfit in the area. After getting the Mosko riders setup with a pair of fully-kitted (with Mosko bags of course) Yamaha T7s, MotoDiscovery trail boss, Michael Bielecki, proceeds to show the group some of the best tracks available in the state (including sections of the AZBDR) for the next few days on a 400+ mile loop route out of Phoenix.

While the film just scratches the surface on the incredible riding opportunities in the Grand Canyon State, the expansive red-rock views, slick muddy trails, cactus-lined mountain passes, serene camping spots, frigid nighttime temps, and ‘gourmet’ camp food all make for an unforgettable weekend adventure. And for most of us, two or three days of exploring off-road trails is more than enough to get our adventure fix — without arriving home feeling like you just ran an ultramarathon.
