World Premiere of Wyoming BDR Expedition Documentary Film Begins

This epic 1000-mile journey will be the BDR’s most remote and wild route yet.

The Backcountry Discovery Routes (BDR) organization recently announced the addition of their newest off-pavement experience – the Wyoming Backcountry Discovery Route (WYBDR). The WBDR is a multi-day off-pavement ride for dual-sport and adventure motorcycles through some of the most dramatic and rugged landscapes Wyoming has to offer. This will be the eleventh route developed by the non-profit BDR organization to date.

A feature-length documentary is now ready to be unveiled to the public, of the BDR team and special guests taking a maiden run on the WYBDR. The team tests their endurance and skills on a 1,000-mile backcountry tour of the most remote BDR to date — taking them on an epic journey through five different mountain ranges, viewing spots from two 11,000-foot summits, high-deserts, short grass prairies, gorges, and alpine climates. Wyoming is the 10th largest state in the U.S. and the least populated, so be prepared to witness a true backcountry adventure in some of America’s wildest territory.

Backcountry Discovery Routes Wyoming Documentary Premiere

The nation-wide WYBDR film tour begins with the World Premiere, this February 5th, 2022, at Blackmore Ranch — one of the coolest moto-inspired venues in Southern California. ADV enthusiasts and industry professionals alike will gather for a night of catered food and refreshments with inspiring scenes of riders exploring some of Wyoming’s most majestic regions flickering on the big screen.

Event Schedule

4:00 pm – Doors open for ADV expo, photo booth, dinner & drinks reception.

6:00 pm – Film screening followed by Q&A with the WYBDR team.

Tickets are $45 per person, and the event is limited to 250 guests. All proceeds go toward creating new routes and preserving riding opportunities for the dual-sport and ADV community. WYBDR Film Premiere Dates

The film tour continues through May at various motorcycle venues, dealerships and clubs across the country. Come out and watch the WYBDR documentary and meet fellow adventure riders during an inspirational evening of film and adventure at one of the upcoming movie premieres.
