KTM Announces Special-Edition 500 EXC-F 6Days Model For 2027
Celebrates 100 years of the historic 6Days event.
KTM has introduced the 2027 500 EXC‑F 6DAYS, returning with the same competition‑focused component package as last year and adding a new graphics scheme that pays tribute to the 100th edition of the historic event. The special‑edition model continues as KTM’s highest‑spec street‑legal enduro, built around the brand’s proven off‑road platform and equipped with a collection of upgrades unique to the 6DAYS line.

The 2027 edition carries forward the chromoly steel frame, aluminum‑reinforced polyamide subframe, and WP suspension components that define the current EXC‑F generation. Up front, the WP XACT 48 mm closed‑cartridge fork uses lighter, shorter springs and updated damping settings, while the WP XPLOR PDS shock maintains its linkage‑free design and optimized valving. Suspension travel remains 300 mm at the fork and 310 mm at the rear.

Power comes from KTM’s 510.9 cc SOHC single with Keihin EFI, a 42 mm throttle body, electric start, and a DDS clutch with Brembo hydraulics. The cooling system continues with the threaded radiator cap and bi‑composite shrouds designed to improve airflow. A protective cap remains fitted to the CPC fuel connector to help prevent debris intrusion.
The 6DAYS package includes a range of competition‑oriented components: orange‑anodized CNC triple clamps, a composite skid plate, front axle puller, solid rear brake disc, Supersprox‑style stealth rear sprocket, and a grippy 6DAYS seat cover. Brembo brakes, CNC hubs, Giant rims with 6DAYS branding, and Continental TKC 80 tires complete the wheel and braking setup.

For 2027, KTM’s update centers on a new color and graphic package inspired by the Portuguese landscape and national colors, of the home country hosting the centenary edition of the ISDE event. The signature orange frame returns, paired with refreshed bodywork celebrating the event’s 100‑year milestone.
KTM also notes that every EXC‑F dual‑sport model, including the 6DAYS edition, is backed by a 1‑year Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty. The new model is currently available with an MSRP of $14,699.00 USD.
