Africa Trail Raid 2015 – Feb.21-27, 2015

A navigation adventure challenge against the backdrop of the Sahara Desert.

Published on 10.14.2014

The Africa Trail Raid is a navigation adventure held over the last week of February 2015, aimed at experienced off road riders. The Africa Trail Raid is especially formulated for riders seeking an organized, fully supported, adventure riding experience in the Sahara.

Riders will test their roadbook navigation skills by completing a series of challenging off-road stages against the backdrop of the Sahara desert of southern Morocco. Set up in the form of a rally, the Africa Trail Raid will see the teams navigating the daily stags as quickly as possible during the six day challenge.

The Africa Trail Raid offers participants the unique experience of testing their navigational skills against the backdrop of the spectacular scenery only found in the Northern Sahara desert, while providing the medical and logistical support to ensure rider safety.

This is NOT a raid for inexperienced off road riders. Daily stages will involve negotiating long gravel stretches, deep sandy tracks and rocky desert pistes. Navigating these stretches is made easy by the digital roadbook which is included in the raid price.
