Colorado Gold Rush Motorcycle Tour – Aug.23-24, 2014
An easy, weekend adventure tour through Colorado's historic mining past.
The Colorado Gold Rush Motorcycle Tour is a two-day adventure through the scenic front range mountains on the Gold Belt Scenic Byway. This ride is an easy ride down old railroad routes, dirt roads, and easy gravel sections, coupled with a bit of pavement to tie it all together. This beautiful ride will go through Denver south towards the beautiful mountain town of Woodland Park, over to the old mining town Victor, down the infamous Phantom Canyon road and eventually into Canon City for the evening.
Enjoy a great dinner in Canon City, sleep well in a hotel (included in the tour price) and get up for the ride back up to Denver. On this day, the tour will take you north along beautiful Shelf Road – an old railroad line. This road has incredible valley views as you ride next to steep drops into the valley below. Arrive back in Denver that evening around 5pm to wrap up this memorable tour.
The Colorado Gold Rush Motorcycle Tour fee includes a professional guide, your hotel room in Canon City, breakfast both mornings, a Colorado Motorcycle Adventures T-shirt, photos of your tour, and a Kawasaki KLR 650 adventure motorcycle with basic insurance. Don’t miss this beautiful weekend tour down Colorado’s historic mining past. Register now to reserve your spot!
