You’ve read about their adventures in the Horizons Unlimited Travellers’ Ezine, now you can meet them in person and ask questions! Travellers at the Horizons Unlimited Travellers Meeting Ontario event will talk about their adventures around the world, from continent hoppers to Round the World travellers.

This is your best opportunity to find out what it takes to get out of the rut, meet travellers and see what this long distance travel stuff is all about. Join us for a great time, lots of opportunity to exchange information, have a chat with those who’ve been there, lived to tell the story, and are planning on going back!

The Ontario Meeting 2014

Event Schedule

The event is taking place from Thursday, Sep 11 to Sunday, Sep 14, 2014.

Lunch will be served at 1 pm on Thursday, Sep 11, after which the Registration Tent will open for check-ins. The Horizons Unlimited Film Festival will start at 3 pm, and the first live presentations will begin at 6 pm. The event will draw to a close at Noon on Sunday, Sep 14.

Over the course of the event there’ll be talks, demonstrations, workshops, Q&A’s, challenges and competitions, with many presentations being repeated so you won’t miss out.

As well as hearing inspiring stories of overlanding adventure from around the world, you’ll get the low-down on preparing for your journey, navigation, first-aid, photography, filming and a host of other essential topics. Whatever your past experience or future plans may be, there’s something for everyone.
