Howlin’ at The Moon Dual Sport — Nov. 4-5, 2023

Here's your chance to explore the amazing terrain of Prescott Valley, Arizona.

This year the Howlin’ at the Moon Dual Sport rally will be held November 4 and 5 in Prescott Valley, Arizona at the Prescott Valley Elks Lodge.

There is limited dry camping available and there may be RV hookup camping. Organizers request you do not call the Elks lodge requesting a RV hookup site. All camping is first-come first-served and will be organized by ATR’s own friendly onsite camp host Ed Maki. Look him up when you arrive.

Other camping and hotel options will be available at Arizona Trail Riders website.

Event Schedule:

FRIDAY – ATR staff will be onsite Friday afternoon/evening for early pickup of Thank You gifts and questions.

SATURDAY – Starts with check-in and buffet breakfast at the Elks Lodge. Then all riders follow the route of their choice, A, B, or C to Crown King for lunch. After lunch riders return to the Elks Lodge on the A, B, or C route of their choice. Happy Hour starts at the Elks Lodge when you are ready, dinner starts at 6:30pm followed by the raffle.

SUNDAY – Starts with check-in and buffet breakfast at the Elks Lodge. Then all riders follow the loop route of their choice, A, B, or C through the Prescott National Forest.   

There are A, B, and C routes available on Saturday and Sunday. “A” routes are the toughest and include all manner of two-track and some single track trail.  “B” routes are a mix of maintained and un-maintained roads and should be considered “Hero” routes for Big Bike riders. The “C” routes are big bike friendly and will be paved roads along with maintained and semi-maintained dirt roads.
