The RAWHYDE Wild Card Rally is a three‑day, high‑energy adventure rally held at ZAKAR in the Mojave Desert, October 16–18, 2026. Built around riding, community, entertainment and off‑road exploration, the event brings together adventure riders and outdoor enthusiasts for a weekend of desert terrain, training opportunities and evening festivities in one of Southern California’s most iconic off‑road regions.

Participants will have access to miles of GPS‑guided routes throughout the Mojave, including the legendary Jawbone Canyon OHV area and surrounding desert terrain. Expect sandy washes, desert two‑track, rocky sections, open desert roads, scenic viewpoints and classic Mojave riding. Route options will include big‑bike‑friendly adventure loops as well as more challenging terrain for riders looking to push their skills.

The Wild Card Rally is open to all brands and all forms of off‑road fun, including adventure bikes, dual‑sports, dirt bikes, UTVs, 4x4s and other two‑ or four‑wheel vehicles. Throughout the weekend, RAWHYDE will offer optional half‑day riding clinics led by experienced instructors, giving participants the chance to build confidence and improve technique in real desert conditions.

A special highlight of the weekend will be Ron West from the BDR organization, who will be on‑site to show a new Backcountry Discovery Routes film and connect attendees with the broader BDR community.

Off the trail, the rally features casino night, live music, food, drinks, aerial performances, relaxing by the fir, and a gear raffle. Overnight accommodations at ZAKAR include bunkhouse lodging, private rooms, cabins, tent camping and dry RV camping.
