Touratech DirtDaze – Aug. 20-23, 2020
Three days of dual sport riding, classes, courses and factory demo rides.
Touratech DirtDaze Adventure Bike Rally is three days of all the adventure bike riding, learning, and demos you could possibly want. Adventure motorcycle enthusiasts should expect the best of all worlds: Amazing rides for all skill levels through breathtaking landscapes on dirt, gravel and pavement, incredible presentations, onsite education and challenges, moto-vendors, factory demos, outdoor fun and the great amenities available at the Suicide Six venue.
Due to the popularity of the 2019 Touratech DirtDaze Rally, the event will take place in a larger venue this August 20-23, 2020. The new headquarters is in an ideal location between Vermont’s Green Mountains and New Hampshire’s White Mountains, in North Haverhill NH. It offers ample camping, RV sites, covered pavilions, food trucks, obstacle courses and more factory demos than at any other east coast ADV rally.
“In 2019, we partnered with Touratech, which really helped the event grow,” said Christian Dutcher, the rally’s Director. “We offered more rides and classes than ever before, and hosted four factory demo teams. I’m confident that 2020 will be even bigger and better, so we needed to find a new, larger home.”
“Our partnership with the DirtDaze team in 2019 was amazing and we can’t wait to work with them at this new location to make ADV magic!” – Touratech USA, Events Director, Matt Lewis
Rides
Whether you want a guide or not, there are plenty of options every day of the rally. DirtDaze says that it saves the best routes for the guided rides but there are GPX files and route sheets available for those who want to make there own adventure. From fun and scenic to gnarly with “hero sections” there are rides for every skill level and bike type.
Adventure Bike Demos
On site there will be new model bike line ups for you to try out for yourself. Off-site, as part of the Americade event at Fort William Henry, there will be more demos than in previous years, according to event organizers. DirtDaze is the adventure part of the Americade event and your DirtDaze wrist band will allow you to demo bikes off-site.
D.A.R.T. Adventure Bike School
As one of the country’s best adventure bike riding schools, Dragoo Adventure Rider Training (DART) will be offering many different classes of varying length and focus. Most of the training will take place on side in the teaching corrals. There is also a special water crossing class on Thursday. These classes are good for all kinds of riders but are specifically tailored to large displacement adventure bikes.
Riding Games and Contests
Every day there will be something unique going on and throughout the event, three separate courses will be available for you to try. None are about going fast, but they are about challenging your skill level. There is also “The Ultimate Rider Rodeo” with professional riders pitted against each other with wireless mics to give you live narration. That should be fun!
