New More-Affordable Rally Kit Launches for the Husqvarna 701

Rally Kit for the Husqvarna 701 adds rally raid looks and functionality for less.

Published on 12.27.2021

The Belgian adventure bike and rally raid parts maker Adventure-Bike.Be has just released an all new Rally Adventure Kit for the Husqvarna 701 (compatible with all years 701 and the KTM 690). The company was launched just two years ago by Rally enthusiast Jasper Lemmens, and already has several Rally Kits available for the KTM 390, 790 and 890 Adventure, the Yamaha Tenere 700, as well as universal kits that will fit a range of different dual sport bikes.

Unlike some of the Rally Kits on the market that can set you back several thousand dollars, the Adventure-Bike.Be kits are made to be more affordable. Accordingly, the new 701 kit will have an introductory price of $792 USD (€699 Euro). The price will go up to $905 USD (€799 Euro) January 14, 2022.

What you get is a plug-n-play frame-mounted kit that requires no drilling or welding. It’s designed to mount all of your navigational tools like GPS, Carpe Iter, Roadbook, ICO, etc. The original speedometer and all the warning lights are also completely compatible with the kit and everything is pre-drilled for a perfect fit.

The clear windscreen was designed to flow seamlessly with the lines of the 701 and the company says its shape works effectively at blocking wind when racing through the desert or just crushing miles on the highway. The screen is made of heavy-duty Lexan material, so it can  take the punishment of aggressive off-road riding or rally racing. The rally nav tower is made of lightweight yet strong and corrosion-resistant 5083 aluminum, with a black powder coat finish for extra durability.

The kit’s two-piece design makes it easy to disassemble for repairs or cleaning. There are also pre-drilled holes in the sides for installing 12-volt plugs for those who want to keep their electronic devices charged on the road. For lighting, the kit uses two 3000-lumen LED headlights, both having low and high beams and 50 watts total draw.

Key Features

  • Plug-n-play installation
  • Durable Lexan Windscreen
  • 3000 Lumen LED Lights Upgrade
  • Fits all navigation equipment
  • Accepts two 12-volt charging ports
  • Powder coated 5083 Aluminum
  • Worldwide Shipping

The new kits just launched and are available for shipping worldwide. Check it out at Adventure-Bike.Be for more details.

I wonder if they will be making one for the 690 as well and if they will be available in the states?

It’s compatible with the 690 but they plan to make a 690-specific kit soon with KTM colors and logos. Worldwide shipping is currently available at reasonable prices.
