DrySpec Launches Ultra-Tough ‘Military Spec’ ADV Luggage
New H35 mil-spec, crushproof, watertight, and versatile luggage system.
The new DrySpec H35 luggage system is designed to overcome two shortcomings in adventure-style luggage: durability and versatility. Most thin-walled aluminum and plastic cases can’t withstand the abuse of off-pavement treks, while top-opening cases are likely to get crushed in a simple tip over. The rugged H35 cases have notable wall thickness, a beefy mounting system, and a patent-pending entry design, providing greater strength and convenience.

Made of 5mm-thick resin walls, these 35-liter cases meet rigorous certification standards for impact, drops, submersion, and vibration. The H35 case is the first to combine the strength of mil-spec side-opening luggage with the convenience of top-opening luggage. As proof of the cases’ durability, the DrySpec team drove a Jeep over one.
The rugged, quick-release A-Lock; mounting system uses a puck-and-lock design that fixes to an A-frame plate, which can be mounted on motorcycle top and side racks. Using the same hole pattern as Monokey mounting systems, the A-Lock adapters allow the cases to be mounted to any SW-MOTECH EVO side carrier and most GIVI PL series Monokey side racks. The wedge-shaped design and slotted latch ensure a rock solid connection to the vehicle, even during heavy off-road use.
Optional Molle side panels allow mounting of Molle-compatible accessories inside or outside the cases, while a photo case liner transforms the H35 into a quick-release camera case. TSA-approved case locks ensure secure global adventure travel as well.
