Ducati Launches “Dirty Dozen” Challenge For DesertX

Conquer the Rockies and earn your Badge.

Published on 08.04.2023

Ducati is calling all DesertX riders to take on the ‘Dirty Dozen’ challenge – a journey across a dozen 12,000+ foot off-road mountain passes in the breathtaking Colorado Rockies.

Each trail in the Dirty Dozen Challenge has been specially selected and presents a unique set of obstacles with ever-changing conditions. According to Ducati, those taking on the challenge “will experience picturesque landscapes while navigating these challenging routes and visiting the historic towns.” From grueling rocky climbs, river crossings, to steep descents, prepare for a thrilling adventure across some of America’s most stunning scenery.

To successfully complete the challenge, riders will need to conquer each of the twelve mountain passes by using the OnX Off Road app. At each pass, seek out the iconic “Signpost,” document your achievement with a photo and share your image on social media tagging @DucatiUSA and using the hashtag #DucatiDirtyDozen. The prize? Those who have successfully taken on each pass will receive a limited-edition badge to apply to their DesertX – a unique insignia that is only earned with this achievement.

This looks epic! I’m sure even those without a DesertX will be trying it out.

What is the deadline? Posting August 4th will make it difficult to get to in 2023.
