He’s Back! Chris Birch And His ADV Bike Coaching Clinics Return To US
A chance to learn techniques from one of the best big-bike riders in the world.
Legendary enduro rider, Chris Birch, has announced his return to the U.S. for his sought-after Adventure Bike coaching clinics. As you know, the New Zealand native is an accomplished off-road racer, having won both the Roof of Africa and Red Bull Romaniacs hard enduros in the past. He is also an eight-time NZ National Enduro Champion and Dakar Rally finisher. Yet, Chris is arguably best known for his YouTube antics on big KTM adventure bikes that seem to defy the laws of physics.
Luckily for all of us, Chris also enjoys teaching others how to ride like a hero. He has been an off-road trainer since 2007 and teaches regularly at his school in New Zealand, while also traveling frequently to run coaching clinics around the world. If you’ve ever checked out his how-to video series “Say No To Slow,” you’ll get an idea of his attention to detail and how he can make the complex easy to understand.
Following the successful debut of his clinics last year in the US, the enduro champ is bringing his coaching talents in 2023 to Georgia, Virginia and Utah in collaboration with Moto Adventure Tours. In April, July and September, a few lucky souls will get a chance to absorb some of his vast knowledge, get personalized tips, pick his brain on anything, and no doubt improve their off-road skills on adventure bikes significantly.
The two-day clinics will entirely focus on off-road skills for both Adventure and Dual Sport riders with classes split into intermediate and advanced levels to keep pace and goals similar among riders. This year each class has been reduced in size from 15 to just 11 riders, with Chris and his assistant coach there to make sure everyone gets the individual attention they need. “A lot of common feedback I get from our customers is that they love the small group, because there is an opportunity to ask questions and get help specifically where you are struggling and I really enjoy getting to know the riders,” says Chris.
Chris’ coaching clinics in the U.S. are currently planned at several venues: KTM World – Highland Park Resort in Georgia, Kairos Resort in Virginia and Jorgensen Powersports in Utah. There is also an extra venue planned for August but location and dates are yet to be determined. Current 2023 dates and locations are as follows:

I think Mr. Birch should move to the U.S. and open a year round school!
Another school for motorcycles lol atleast with jarvis tours you get an outfit
Wish he was doing one in the southern and central regions of the Country. Lots of dual sport & adventure riders including myself would love to attend. But these locations are all more than a full days ride away. I humbly suggest checking out Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch & Adventure Park in the Northwest Arkansas Ozarks. Beautiful scenic mountain setting with over 50 miles of fantastic single track. Trails that are nice enough to be hosting a round on this years NEPG race schedule.
