KTM Adventure Rally Heads To Norway For 2023
KTM Europe event takes on the incredible trails near the town of Lillehammer.
KTM has officially revealed plans for the next edition of the European Adventure Rally, this time heading north to Norway after successful runs in Italy, Bosnia, Greece and France in recent years. Expect incredible scenery, adrenaline and the opportunity to ride with professional KTM ambassadors while exploring the spectacular landscapes of the country known as the “Land of the Midnight Sun”.
The five-day adventure will set basecamp at the Kvitfjell Hotel, close to Lillehammer. KTM is allocating space for 150 riders which will be split into four tour guide groups of 24 with the rest of the participants able to self-navigate, ‘Rally style,’ thanks to GPS instructions. KTM ambassadors like Chris Birch will be on-hand for help, instruction and storytelling.
Each day of the program will feature dinner, music and entertainment as the KTM technical crew ensures the orange machinery is in fine fettle for the kilometers to come. Plus, all the hassle regarding accommodations and the search for the perfect mix of scenic but challenging and exciting routes has been removed; simply show-up with a KTM, an attitude for adventure in Scandinavia and a willingness to create some memories.
KTM says the Adventure Rider Rally is all about inclusion and adds that “the event encourages all KTM bikes and all skill levels to ride together.” For the first time, reservations for the event will be made online, with a first-come-first-served policy. The rally will be held the 24th-28th of July 2023, with the portal opening for bookings starting February 28th, 2023 where pricing details will be provided.

You are sure the Norway event open for all brands?
Hey nordicbiker, KTM didn’t single out bikes in their Norway announcement which would follow the traditional format of the event in North America. However, we can see there is a chance Norway may follow the NZ/AUS format. Great feedback, thank you!
