Off-Road Travel TV will make its worldwide debut January 12 at 9:30am ET/PT on the MAVTV channel. In the first episode of the all-new 30-minute show, the crew goes camping with Michael Ladden and his amazing ‘Drive the Globe’ expedition rig, which houses a fully-kitted KTM 390 Adventure in back he uses to explore deep into the forest during his travels. Then show host Ken Faught heads to the off-road paradise of Park City, Utah to go on a rugged three-day dirt tour on dual sport bikes. The show concludes with a preview of what’s to come in future episodes with Off-Road Travel TV’s incredible 48-day Alaskan adventure and a look at their amazing purpose-built Toyota Tundra and 4Runner expedition vehicles.

Off-road travel TV debut

“After over two years in the making we are excited to see the launch of Off-Road Travel TV on MAVTV, the fastest growing motorsports network in the USA” said Mark Mitchell, CEO and cofounder of Off-Road Travel TV. “We look forward to providing the MAVTV audience with a weekly glimpse into the exciting and inviting world of off-road and overland travel through amazing destinations, top notch builds and the latest in gear and equipment.”

Off-Road Travel TV will be the first weekly 30-minute magazine-style show on a national cable and satellite television channel aimed at the off-road and overland audience. The show will continue to air each week on Sundays at 9:30 AM ET/PT exclusively on MAVTV and will repeat up to six times weekly. Much of the first season focuses on the adventures of Ken and Wyatt Faught during their 10,000-mile father-and-son trip. The pair starts in California, heads to the Overland Expo in Bend, goes mountain biking in Whistler, then makes their way to Alaska. Throughout their journey, a wide variety of adventure seekers will join them in their off-road excursions and outdoor activities as they explore some of the most incredible landscapes out west. Some highlight destinations include Banff and Lake Louise in Canada, Glacier National Park in Montana and Yellowstone in Wyoming, before they head to Idaho, Utah and Nevada.

Off-road travel TV debut

“This show is created by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, and it’s about as genuine as it gets,” said Ken, President, Executive Producer and co-founder of Off-Road Travel TV. “I have been lucky enough to go on off-road excursions in Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Peru, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and all over the United States, and the experience you get is simply amazing. I believe travel is the best thing you can do in life.”

How To Watch

Off-Road Travel TV episodes will be available exclusively through MAVTV, a TV network and media platform dedicated to motorsports and powered by a passion for speed. If you are unfamiliar with the channel, there’s a ton of great motorcycle racing content including the Dakar Rally, King of the Motos, FIM Super Enduro Racing, AMA Arenacross, Moto America Superbike, and more. MAVTV also explores the people, vehicles, races and places within global motorsports on pavement, dirt and water with their collection of documentaries, “build” series and other original content.

In the US, MAVTV can be found on Cablevision, Spectrum, Xfinity, AT&T U-verse, Direct TV, RCN Corporation, FuboTV, GCI in Alaska, and select cable systems in the Caribbean Co-op. Some streaming services may require a Sport Add-On package to get MAVTV such as HULU and YouTube TV.

In addition to the live TV network, MAVTV has a MAVTV GO app through the Apple App Store or Google Play which will be streaming Off-Road Travel TV episodes on demand in their entirety beginning approximately 30 days after the original air dates. Or users can stream MAVTV GO on Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, and online at MAVTVGO.com

Sounds like something that will fuel your wanderlust? Tune in this Sunday at 9:30am ET/PT to watch Off-Road Travel TV!

Note: There is a free version of MAVTV called MAVTV ‘Select’ which provides a limited selection of the main channel’s programming via ad-supported services. The ‘Select’ version does NOT broadcast the show, ONLY the main MAVTV channel available through cable providers and streaming platforms like Hulu and YouTube TV.

Hey Paul. Check that you are watching MAVTV and not the free ad-supported version called MAVTV ‘Select’. As mentioned in the story, it is only available live on MAVTV. If you don’t have MAVTV on your current plan, you should be able to add it or you can wait about a month to watch it when it airs on the free MAVTV app. It’s possible it might air on MAVTV Select in the future but not at the moment.

It sounds interesting. I downloaded the MAVTV GO app and was unable to find
Off Road Travel TV. I am in Canada. Not sure if that’s the issue .

Hey Jeff. Unfortunately, the episodes won’t start to become available on the App for another month. Currently, you can only watch it if you have MAVTV in your channel lineup. It airs every Sunday at 9:30am ET/PT.

I really enjoyed the first show. I’ve been an off-road enthusiast since I could throw my leg over a dirt bike. Looking forward to the updates on the Alaska trek. Keep up the good work.
