The second-generation Himalayan 450 made its successful debut in 2023, boasting a whole new platform with more power, improved suspension, a six-speed gearbox, upgraded electronics, and many other upgrades.

Being no stranger to the Himalayan, SW-Motech has fitted up a host of offerings for the new 450 including their signature aluminum TRAX ADV cases for the first time, along with a range of other luggage, protection and ergonomic products.

Adventure Handguards

One of their newest protection products are handguards, available in either the slim Sport or the more rugged and protective Adventure model. Both variants feature a robust two point attachment without special tools. The base is a sturdy aluminum bracket to which the handguard shells are attached while the shells’ impact-resistant plastic is flexible and offers great protection against external forces.

When driving off-road, the Adventure model is designed to protect your hands from flying rocks and contact with branches and bushes. Thanks to the closed shape, the handlebar and hands are also covered on the sides. For even more protection, the separately available crash pad set can be attached to the handguards. The extension set, which increases the protection area of the Adventure handguards, provides more weather protection. MSRP $155

Axle Crash Pads

These pads are designed to mitigate damage to the fork in the event of a fall. Made from abrasion-resistant plastic and a fiberglass-reinforced core, SW-Motech says they offer great damping capacity due to TPU coating as well as good sliding properties thanks to their smooth surface. Easy mounting with axle thread and bike-specific spacers. MSRP $90.

Crash Bars

Designed to offer optimal cornering clearance, these crash bars supplement the factory upper guards and protect the new radiator. Made of steel pipe with a diameter of 27 mm, they feature a weather- and corrosion-resistant powder coating in black while the surface finishing is carried out at the SW-MOTECH plant in the Czech Republic. Bike-specific mounting systems enable reliable, easy installation onto original attachment points. MSRP $240.

Made from high-quality, aluminium alloy, the skid plate protects the underside and lower front of the Himalayan from rocks and ground impacts. Model-specific production ensures a secure fit, while the installation on frame mounting points lends additional stability and allows for easy installation. MSRP $280 (silver) $310 (black).

ION Footrest

For improved riding comfort, these height-adjustable footrests help to optimize riding position while providing a large-sized foot area. The kitt allows the footrest to be mounted at its original height or lowered by 15 mm, while hinges made from high-strength aluminum alloy ensure that the footrest can fold out of the way if the bike tips over. The removable rubber top surface reduces vibration, and the profile gives you a firm grip during offroad riding. To mount the bike-specific hinge adapter to the footrest sockets, the original attachments (springs, bolts, etc.) are used. MSRP $160.

Side Stand Extension

EVO Fog Lights
