Sena Debuts 60X Headset With Joystick Controls & Wireless Charging

A new generation of Sena 60 Series begins with the latest flagship unit.

Published on 07.10.2026

Sena has added a new flagship intercom to its 60 Series lineup with the introduction of the 60X, a communication system built around a redesigned interface, updated mounting hardware, and several usability improvements aimed at making day‑to‑day operation more intuitive.

The unit centers on a new glove-friendly joystick controller and introduces Sena’s first-ever customizable button system letting riders assign functions according to their own preferences. It also features a redesigned horizontal magnetic mount that allows the device to snap into place with a single motion.

For power management, the 60X adds wireless charging and automatic on/off functionality. The unit is compatible with Sena’s mobile app for configuration, including the customizable control layout, Mesh settings, and audio adjustments. It also supports firmware updates through the app, allowing Sena to roll out feature refinements over time. The company backs the 60X with its Limited Lifetime Warranty, which applies to the main device and clamp kits.

The 60X supports Mesh Intercom 3.0, Wave Intercom, and Bluetooth 5.3, giving riders multiple ways to connect depending on group size and device compatibility. Audio comes through 40mm speakers and is tuned in collaboration with Bose, continuing the partnership introduced on earlier 60 Series units. The system also incorporates AI‑based noise cancellation designed to reduce wind and engine noise during communication.

With its new control scheme, magnetic mount, dual clamp‑kit inclusion, updated connectivity options, and Bose‑tuned audio, the 60X represents the most feature‑complete system in Sena’s current lineup. Sena rates the device at IPX7 for water resistance and includes two clamp kits in the box, allowing riders to set up a second helmet without purchasing additional hardware. Pricing for a single unit is listed at $459 while the dual pack will set you back $879.

For that price I’d want 32 bit float audio recording to 42Gb on board RAM. Or just wait for dji to smash Sena & Cardo with innovatiive dji intercoms, based on their mics
