Giant Loop Launches Next-Gen Klamath Tail Rack Bag

The Klamath receives a new quick-release mounting system for 2020.

Published on 07.14.2020

Giant Loop has released a next-gen Klamath Tail Rack Pack for 2020 with key updates, making it even easier and faster to install and remove from motorcycle tail racks and fenders. The versatile new mounting system includes two of Giant Loop’s new 25-inch stretch polyurethane Pronghorn Straps, plus four Fender Hooks and two forward-tensioning webbing anchor straps to accommodate a wide variety of motorcycle makes and models.

Like a tank bag for the rear of the motorcycle, the low-profile Klamath Tail Rack Pack keeps gear organized and easily accessible, securing to the GL Tail Rack (or virtually any motorcycle rear rack), as well as many plastic dirt bike fenders. The 4-liter soft luggage case features a zipper-less nested clamshell design inspired by classic motorcycle rally racing packs, that makes for quick access to gear even while wearing gloves. For 100% waterproof, dustproof and snowproof protection, the Klamath Tail Rack Pack includes a seam-sealed inner liner Dry Pod. Made in the USA and constructed with military-spec materials, the Klamath Tail Rack Pack is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Rider friendly exterior features include rugged, waterproof materials and construction, convenient access to gear with gloves on via mil-spec side-release buckles, reflective accents for visibility, coated-mesh pocket and a dual adjusting shock cord cargo lash point. The Klamath Tail Rack Pack’s interior is padded and lined with high-visibility yellow, and features include an interior adjustable divider with pen/tire pressure gauge loop, key clip and zippered mesh pocket.

Includes 2 x 25″ Pronghorn Straps for quick mounting and release.

GL tankbags are great but we carry a cover for them when it’s really, wet n raining cats n dogs, and add additional foam for camera protection. The pronghorn straps look interesting – definitely not a direct copy of VOILEstraps?
