You’ll Want to Buy a DR650 After Watching This
The DR650SE is compared against KTM's, WR's and Husabergs off-road.

The Suzuki DR650SE is tested in this video against a range of KTM’s, Husabergs and WR Enduro Bikes. This completely unbiased and thorough off-road comparison test was performed on some of the gnarliest trails of the Kandanga State Forest of Eastern Australia.
There could only be one winner in this challenge to find the best off-road bike. To the surprise of just a few, the winner is the Suzuki DR650. This confirms a long held suspicion, that the DR650 is the best off-road bike ever produced…
All kidding aside the Suzuki DR650SE may not be the “World’s Best Off-Road Bike,” but this hilarious video may be the “World’s Best Marketing Piece” ever produced for the DR650.
The test rider on the DR650 does a good job of embarrassing other riders on the trail riding bikes that cost twice as much. We’d love to see the faces of those KTM riders as they got passed by a guy wearing jeans riding a DR650 with tank bag, giant mirrors and a top box. You better believe they were doing everything they could to avoid the shame of being passed by the DR!
There are some impressive riding skills on display in this video (especially the wheelies), but the main thing you’ll get out of this is a good laugh. Our favorite line from the video…
“Roost Warning: Always ride at least 300 yards behind a DR as boulders to the head can be fatal.”

I ride with the guy who made this video, he is a funny bugger who rides rings around most regardless of what he is on lol.
This Video is a lot of BULLSHIT sales talk. It really boils down to the different riders skills and manner of riding , and EXPERIENCE. No matter what bike is being ridden , the experienced and skillful rider will always be leading , in front , and an example to others. KTM , DR , BMW are all good bikes, dependent upon the riders experience and skill.
no, it’s simply a bit of fun.
No-one takes it too seriously – but as the owner of 4 bikes I can tell you I still take my modified DR650 VERY seriously. Simple, uncomplicated and supremely capable when you finish making it the bike you want for yourself. It’s the one bike I’ll always keep
you’ve taken some things literally and way too seriously perhaps. It’s just for a laugh. But I too do love my modified DR60. I’m onto my 3rd bigger adventure bike during the time I’ve owned my DR. The DR stays forever
Shopping for bike, Monster 821 or DR650 – hands Doug winner DD650
I agree. These guys on MUCH BETTER bikes are inexperienced. I have a DR and a WR250F, and I would waste myself on the DR if I was riding my WR. Nothing better than being am A rider on an average bike and riding faster than D level riders on great bikes.
Very impressive riding skills on display in this video.
