DirtDaze Adventure Bike Rally – Jun. 6-9, 2018

Ready for full week of riding, classes, courses and factory demo rides?

Published on 05.01.2018

DirtDaze Adventure Bike Rally is a full week of all the adventure bike riding, learning, and demos you could possibly want. Located at the Painted Pony Ranch, camping and off-site lodging is available.

Whether you want a guide or not, there are plenty of options every day of the rally. DirtDaze says that it saves the best routes for the guided rides but there are GPX files and route sheets available for those who want to make there own adventure. From fun and scenic to gnarly with “hero sections” there are rides for every skill level and bike type.

Adventure Bike Demos

On site there will be Suzuki, Beta, and AJP with their 2018 bike line ups for you to try out for yourself. Off-site, as part of the Americade event at Fort William Henry, there will be Honda, BMW, and Yamaha. DirtDaze is the adventure part of the Americade event and your DirtDaze wrist band will allow you to demo bikes off-site.

D.A.R.T. Adventure Bike School

As one of the country’s best adventure bike riding schools, Dragoo Adventure Rider Training (DART) will be offering many different classes of varying length and focus. Most of the training will take place on side in the teaching corrals. There is also a special water crossing class on Thursday. These classes are good for all kinds of riders but are specifically tailored to large displacement adventure bikes.

Riding Games and Contests

Every day there will be something unique going on and throughout the event, three separate courses will be available for you to try. None are about going fast, but they are about challenging your skill level. There is also “The Ultimate Rider Rodeo” with professional riders pitted against each other with wireless mics to give you live narration. That should be fun!

With his sights set on doing what he loved for a living, Sean left college with a BA in Journalism and dirt bike in his truck. After five years at a dirt-only motorcycle magazine shooting, testing, writing, editing, and a little off-road racing, he has switched gears to bigger bikes and longer adventures. He’ll probably get lost a few times but he’ll always have fun doing it. Two wheels and adventure is all he needs.
