Two millennia ago, Roman legionaries traveled this same road, crossing mountains, valleys and rivers, towards glorious Rome. Today the TransItalia Marathon follows in their footsteps, not with the march of an army, but with the roar of engines.

The TransItalia Marathon is an epic adventure along the paths of history and motorbike tourism. The journey begins in Rimini on the enchanting Adriatic coast, where the waves lap the ancient city walls. Rimini will host the the TransItalia Expo, which includes three days of manufacturer exhibitions, contests and demo rides. Then the odyssey through Italy will begin on Monday Sept. 23 with the first stage of the Marathon event. 

From Rimini, the route winds through breathtaking landscapes , following ancient paths and winding roads that lead through the hills of Umbria and Lazio. The Apennine mountains rise majestically, offering breathtaking views and challenges that test the skills of motorcyclists, along the way, picturesque towns and villages follow each other, each with its own story to tell. 

Ancient Roman ruins, medieval castles and walled cities stand as silent witnesses to the glorious past of this land. The Transitalia Marathon is an experience that combines the past and the present, the passion for motorcycling and the love for Italy. It is a tribute to the determination and perseverance of the Roman legionaries and an adventure that will remain etched in the hearts and minds of those who experienced it.
