Aprilia Wants You To Explore Baja and New Mexico On The Tuareg 660
All-inclusive dream journeys on the dirt-focused adventure bike from Italy!
After the successful debut of the ‘Tuareg Experience’ in North America last year, Aprilia is bringing back their all-inclusive rides on the Tuareg 660 with two unforgettable adventures to choose from. Aprilia’s Tuareg Experience not only returns to Baja for 2023, the Italian brand is also offering an epic adventure within the United States for the first time with the addition of New Mexico to the program.
With both adventures covering approximately 1,000 miles, Aprilia’s Experience program is designed for riders looking to enjoy the Tuareg 660 in a true dual sport environment while celebrating the best of the selected destination. The unique all-inclusive journeys include rental of an Aprilia Tuareg 660, guides, meals and lodging. Check out what’s in store!
Baja Tuareg Experience
Returning for its second year, Aprilia’s Baja adventure will span over six days from coast to crest-line aboard the Tuareg 660. The journey begins in San Diego, California in a loop that takes riders on and off-road to Ensenada, San Quintin, Cataviña, Bahía de Los Angeles, San Felipe, and back north for an unforgettable adventure that celebrates the best mix of dirt, asphalt and sea salt.
Kicking off the Tuareg Experience program this year, the Baja adventure will run from March 12th through March 19th. Expect a variety of desert and mountainous landscapes mixed in with stretches of tarmac and incredible coastal views, plus delicious food along the way.
New Mexico Tuareg Experience
This is the first Tuareg Experience that Aprilia offers within the United States. From expansive desert flats to breathtaking mountain views, the Italian brand’s New Mexico adventure is a unique opportunity to test the Tuareg’s capability through some of the best of the Rocky Mountains. Spanning over 5 days, the nearly 1000-mile adventure begins in Santa Fe, New Mexico in a loop that brings the tour on and off-road to Taos Ski Valley, Jasper and Pagosa Springs in Colorado and then back south to Santa Fe.
Running from August 9th through August 15th, the New Mexico experience will take riders through a wide variety of terrain and elevations reaching around 11,000 feet, while also including a nearly 50-mile section of the New Mexico BDR. Expect incredible views and great food along the way.
Ready For The Tuareg Experience?
Each all-inclusive multi-day adventure is $3,750 with a limited number of spots available. At the time of this writing, the New Mexico Experience also offers a cheaper option listed at $3,000 for participants that want to ride their own Tuareg.
According to Aprilia, both journeys will cover more than 200 miles on most days over a variety of technical roads and environments so it is advised participants have an intermediate level of experience with mixed conditions. For more information and to register, go to Aprilia’s Baja Tuareg Experience page and/or the New Mexico Tuareg Experience site.

I’d love to do a Euro Alpine tour but this sounds even more appealing as an ADV’er that loves the off road part of riding.
I’ll think about it when Aprilia allow one to do their own maintenance and can clear service interval idiot lights.
