CFMoto Unveils Updated Ibex 800 For 2025
The Chinese LC8c-powered adventure bike returns with new tricks up its fender.
Two years after arriving on US shores, CFMoto is bringing back the Ibex 800 with a few updates for model year 2025. Previously available in a ‘T’ and ‘S’ version, the Chinese-based company has now consolidated the line into what is now called the Ibex 800 E.
Highlighting CFMoto’s long-running partnership with KTM, the bike not only uses design cues from Kiska but is also powered by the 790’s LC8c mill. In the Ibex 800 E, the 799cc parallel-twin powerplant pumps out a claimed 95 horsepower and 56.8 lb-ft of torque. A bi-directional quick shifter eliminates the need to engage the clutch during upshifts and downshifts, maintaining momentum and preventing loss of traction.
For the 2025 model riders will now have the option of six ride modes instead of two, including Sport, Rain, Off-Road, Off-Road Plus, All terrain, and All Terrain Plus. These modes manage ABS and Traction Control via throttle input to ensure optimal performance in different conditions.
The fresh model also includes a new switch control assembly and a larger 8” TFT touch screen that gives access to ride modes, GPS navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, incoming calls, message notifications, music playback, and more.
Bump absorption duties on the Ibex 800 are carried out by adjustable KYB suspension with 6.3 inches (160 mm) of travel up front and 5.9 inches (150 mm) out back. Stopping power is delivered by J.Juan brakes while the bike rolls on 19”/17” tubeless spoked wheels shod with Michelin Anakee Adventure tires. The bike is pretty accessible too, boasting a rather comfortable seat height of 32.5 inches (825 mm).
Other features include blind spot monitoring, cruise control, an adjustable windscreen, heated grips and seat, Bosch cornering ABS, wheelie control, aluminum skid plate, crash bars, center stand, and a full LED lighting system. The whole package tips the scale at a claimed 509 pounds wet.
Pricing and Colors
The 2025 Ibex 800 E will be offered in Gem Black and Starry White with an MSRP starting at $10,299. The bike is covered by a 2-year warranty plus CFMoto offers several opportunities throughout the year for a test ride during their nationwide Demo Tour stops. The company currently reports, they have more than 300 dealerships nationwide that carry their two-wheel products.

Living in Canada’s most populated province, Ontario, in a major suburb in the greater Toronto area, the nearest CF dealer
selling CF motorcycles( vs. offroad quads etc). Is over 2 hrs away, 185 km.
Hard to even consider when this is the case.
I have a couple of CF Moto dealers in my area. But until KTM gets the cam lobe situation figured out, no thanks 🙁
Flat seat. 21/18 wheels. Wonder if they have the soft cams.
