Yamaha Launches First‑Ever Ténéré Trek Adventure Rider Rally
Explore Idaho’s epic backcountry and get a chance to demo the new T7 World Raid.
This summer, Yamaha is bringing its BLU CRU community together with the launch of their first‑ever Ténéré Trek, a new factory‑led adventure rally taking place August 6–9, 2026, at the Tamarack Resort in Donnelly, Idaho. Designed specifically for Yamaha adventure bike and dual sport owners, the four‑day event combines curated backcountry routes, skills training, demo rides, and live entertainment in one of the Northwest’s most scenic riding regions.
The Ténéré Trek marks the brand’s first official multi‑day ADV rally in the U.S. — a move that reflects the rapid growth of the T7 platform and the tight‑knit community that has formed around it. You’ll also be one of the first riders in the U.S. to see and ride Yamaha’s flagship adventure model — the Ténéré 700 World Raid.

Set along the shores of Lake Cascade, the event uses Tamarack Resort as its basecamp, with new GPX‑guided routes each day exploring the surrounding Payette National Forest. Riders can expect a mix of high‑elevation gravel passes, forest two‑track, and sweeping river overlooks, with multiple difficulty levels available. GPX files will be provided at check‑in, and Yamaha requires both a GPS device and an SOS satellite communicator for participation.

Beyond the riding, Yamaha is packing the weekend with hands‑on experiences, including ADV skills training with Dakar podium finisher Jimmy Lewis, demo rides featuring the full Ténéré 700 lineup — including the new World Raid — plus a vendor alley showcasing gear, parts, and accessories from Yamaha partners. Evenings will feature entertainment, raffles, group activities, and three hosted dinners. Participants will also receive a commemorative event hat, t‑shirt, and decals, along with opportunities to ride and connect with Yamaha brand ambassadors and staff.
Lodging options range from Yamaha‑negotiated rooms and cottages at Tamarack Resort to nearby Curlew Campground and shared yurts at Osprey Point. Registration is priced at $250 for riders and $50 for guests or passengers, covering meals, activities, and event merchandise.

The schedule includes Thursday arrivals and a welcome dinner, followed by two full days of riding, vendor alley access, evening activities, and a closing dinner on Saturday. With only 200 rider spots available, the Ténéré Trek is expected to fill quickly. Full details and registration information are available through the official event page.
